Facebook Likes

Get more Likes for your website

A great way of building your Facebook audience is to add a 'Like this page and win' button to your website.

For example 'Like this page and we will enter you into our prize draw' State what there is on offer for the winner. It could be some vouchers to spend online or an actual product. Either way people love free stuff!

You'll be surprised at how many people like your page. Once they have liked it this will show on their page and depending on how many friends they have your potential audience is vast.

You can then continue to add promotions and posts and each time they will get notification. It's a great way of keeping your brand awareness going.

Get Blogging

A great way to get your brand out there is to start a blog. Whether it be on your website or otherwise. Blogger.com which is a Google owned blog site is easy to use and you can create as many blogs as you like completely free of charge!

Keywords And Phrases

Take a look at my retail website. This will give you an insight in to what I mean about keywords and phrases. If you look at the home page you will see I have many, many phrases embedded in the text and have tried not to make it too obvious.

It's tricky but try to think of your home page as your best chance of pushing your site up the rankings rather than simply an informative read for your customers. To be honest they just want to be checking out your products and probably only read the necessary jargon re postage, returns and so on.

You'll notice that each product is also keyphrase rich too!

Twitter

5 Posts A Day!

If you're one of those reluctant tweeters, get over it and start typing! Build yourself a list of loyal followers and get communicating with them on a daily basis.
A few tweets a day will really get your brand noticed.

Google Products

Well we're still not sure when it will happen but prepare yourselves for it. Google products will soon make a charge for listing within their shopping link.

They are already doing so in the States so my guess is it won't be long now.
